This happening area truly has it ALL! I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else! Not to mention the adorable backyard patio setting here for late night wine & fire nights – it truly MADE our stay! 🔥🍷❤

7Eleven & The Market by Buon Appetito, along with the Mercato Farmers Market, are all located within minutes of the bungalow to fullfill any & all snack & wine lover needs! 👌
Lime Scooters are EVERYWHERE to easily make your way over to the Downtown Gaslamp or waterfront Seaport Village area which we used… A lot! 🛴 With 3 people it is cheaper to Uber, but it’s about the experience of really seeing the city, with the wind in your hair on a nice sunny day! 🌞😎 Otherwise, get those steps in with a 25-30 min walk to Downtown Gaslamp! I tell you, it’s all about location, location, location here! THIS is the area to be! 👌
Uber: Easily accessible within a few short minutes! Less than 10 min to airport!
Balboa Park: Balboa Events The ‘December Nights’ with dozens of booths to indulge at, along with choirs singing, tree lighting & shopping is my favorite! Balboa Park Map
Big Red Chair: Photo opp! Enjoy a nice walk & take in the AM before it gets too crowded. Snap a shot of the Little Italy Street Sign crossing over India St while you’re at it!
Coronado Beach: 12min Uber across the bay from SD! Walk back in time through the famous Hotel Del Coronado. Explore on your own or join a guided tour offered by the Coronado Historical Association. You have to use the old fashioned elevator w/ bellhop – one of the last hotels in SD w/ human operators! After, kick back on the white powdery sand where crowds aren’t found, dabble in art galleries & shopping with all the small town charm, or explore the whole island by bike: Holland’s Bicycles
Tip: The San Diego-Coronado Bridge’s traffic can be bad, especially on Summer weekends. Flagship Cruises offers a ferry ride from Ferry Landing, across the Bay to the Embarcadero. Water taxis are available too!
Happy Head Massage: $39 full body massage that takes walk-in’s? We had to give this place a try – don’t let the name scare you off! 😉 Was nice after ALL the walking we did for a quick little rejuvenation, especially for our feet!
Markets: Along with the Little Italy Mercato Farmer’s Market, check out the Gaslamp Artisan Market on the weekends that’s within 25min walking distance!
Mission Beach or Pacific Beach: $15 Uber from Little Italy. Great for beach play & people watching at one of the many bars along the strip! Walk the boardwalk connecting PB with Mission Beach! Please note, these are packed party beaches!
Petco Park: Catch a Padres game & a beer just outside at Half Door Brewing Co! Even better, sip on a cold brew at the Stone Brew Tap Room inside the stadium!
Point Loma: Stunning sunsets!
San Diego Zoo: Bring the kids!
USS Midway Museum Tickets: Fascinating 1 hour audio tour aboard the ship. Law Enforcement & Military FREE! Stop by the Kissing Sailor Statue AKA “Embracing Peace Statue” located directly across the ship. It’s 25′ tall! You can’t miss it!
